What is SST training? In accordance with Local Law 196 of 2017 all supervisors on job sites in NYC that require a Site Safety Superintendent are now required to obtain a supervisor Site Safety Training (SST) Card. In order to qualify for the Supervisor SST Card individuals must complete a total of 62 hours of training approved by the NYC Department of Buildings.
Edit: This package includes 4 online classes which when combined with an OSHA 30 and additional SST Credits may qualify you for a supervisor SST card. To start, simply click on the "View Details" button. You may then start taking the online classes at your convenience.
4 hour electives package includes courses that are required to obtain a Supervisor SST card but do not have any course equivalents. The courses are as follows:
Please advise, NYC DOB does allow for supervisors to use some DOB approved training courses to count towards their supervisor SST card called course equivalents (for more information, please view the course equivalents table).
